Airport Ministries

Airport Interfaith Chaplaincy Program providesspiritual
and emotional support to people passing through
Hartsfield-Jackson InternationalAirport. Chapel is
located in Main Terminal Atrium.

 Bethlehem Ministry

Fr. Jean Monique Bruno runs the Bethlehem Ministry
in Haiti which was founded in 1993 to serve the educational
needs of the Haitian poor. Our money is used to provide
vocationaltraining to men and women, and to provide
assistance to elementary school children to cover tuition,
books, uniforms, and lunch. Haiti has an illiteracy rate
of 85% with few educational opportunities.

 Calvary Refuge Center

 In Forest Park, provides transitional housing and night
shelter to many of Southside Atlanta's homeless men and women.

Collection Box in Gathering Room for toiletries, towels & wash cloths.Proceeds from Penny Jug in Parish Hall go to purchasing Public Transit Tokens for Calvary Refuge Guests.

 Holy Comforter

Episcopal Church

 A mission parish of the Diocese of Atlanta. Many of the
congregation are mentally ill individuals who live in
personal care homes in southeast Atlanta.
St. Augustine's provides several evening meals each year.

 Good Shepherd Clinic

 A medical clinic which offers free services for needy residents of Clayton County who are not covered by any other health program. Area doctors volunteer their time, and drugs are donated by local area hospitals. Others volunteer their time for cleaning and upkeep. Collection Box in Parish Hall for recycled Rx Prescription bottles.

 Southern Crescent Habitat for Humanity

A non-profit Christian organization that works in partnership with volunteers, businesses and churches throughout the community. Their goal is to build affordable housing for deserving families in Clayton, Fayette, and Henry Counties. Local residents and merchants donate time and materials. St. Augustine's Parishioners have helped build homes.

 Meals on Wheels

Volunteers deliver prepared meals to the elderly and disabled in the Forest Park area. St. Augustine's deliveries are scheduled every Tuesday, except the third Tuesday of the month. The food delivered may be nourishing to the body, but the human contact with these homebound people is perhaps more important.

 Project Open Hand

Since its founding, Project Open Hand has served more than 2.75 million free meals to over 6,000 men, women, and children living with HIV/AIDS. Nutritious meals are prepared in Atlanta and are quick-frozen. Volunteers deliver the meals to St. Augustine's, the satellite distribution point for clients in this area. Deliveries are made each Monday, Wednesday,and Friday. Alicia Martin serves as coordinator.

 Rainbow House

A local private, nonprofit facility that provides emergency shelter for children who are victims of abuse, neglect and abandonment. Rainbow House serves both males and females regardless of race, religion, national origin or economic background.

An interdenominational, nonprofit organization located in Forest Park which offers food and emergency help for rent and utilities to needy people in the community.
